Are you interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith? Are you ready to begin the process of entering the Catholic Church? Are you a Catholic who wishes to return to the Church? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are invited to attend OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) classes at St. Veronica Catholic Church.
OCIA classes are held each Monday evening from 7:30-9:00 p.m. in room P206. Classes begin September 23, 2024, but feel free to join in at any time.
The OCIA process is not a “sign-up” for becoming a Catholic. It is a time of no obligation, during which we pursue the truths and meaning of life, the answers to eternal questions, and the truths, teachings, and practices of the Catholic Church. OCIA is both for those who are already sure and for those who just wish to inquire and learn. Your time of inquiry will be respected as each person’s faith journey and path of grace is different. Our priests and staff will lead the OCIA evening sessions through teaching, direction, question-answering, discussion, and prayer.
We encourage inquirers to participate in the OCIA program at their home parish, if possible. A map of St. Veronica’s parish boundaries can be found here. If you reside outside of our parish boundaries, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to work with you and help you find the best place to begin OCIA studies.
