The Martyrdom of Blessed Franz Jägerstätter Presentation and Discussion

August 11 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Mark your calendar for a presentation and discussion Monday evening, August 11 on the life and martyrdom of Blessed Franz Jägerstätter, who was put to death for refusing to serve in the Nazi army or swear an oath to Hitler, based on his Catholic convictions. He took extraordinary care to avoid both mortal and venial sin, willingly embracing suffering and death for the sake of Christ and the glory of Heaven. He not only was a martyr but also a writer, penning numerous insights on how we can live a holy and morally upright life. Monday, August 11, 7:00 pm, Acolyte Room (just below the last three stations). Sponsored by the Society of Patricians.
