Homeschool Potluck

Homeschool families and any parish families considering homeschooling, please join us in celebrating St. Martha’s day, patron saint of homemakers, on Friday, July 29^th in the parish hall starting at 6:30 pm. Bring a dish, drinks to share, and a board game to play after dinner.

Reminder:  August 1^st is the due date for submitting evidence of progress to the county school board for the 2021-2022 academic year.  This can be a letter by a licensed teacher, passing a standardized test, or an evaluation by someone with an advanced degree who has knowledge of your child’s progress and states they have made adequate progress.  Notice of intent to homeschool can be submitted at the same time by email or mail.  More information can be found on the Virginia department of education site:  https://www.doe.virginia.gov/families/private_home/index.shtml.
