St. Lucy Food Drive, June 11th-June 19th

St. Veronica will be hosting a food drive to benefit Catholic Charities St. Lucy Project June 11^th-June 19^th.  Blue bags for donations will be offered after Masses next weekend.  Return donated items to the bins in the vestibules no later than June 19^th.

Please consider adding a few of these non-perishable items, boxed, bagged or canned (no glass), to your shopping list for our neighbors in need:  

¨ Peanut butter;

¨ Jelly

¨ Canned meat—tuna & chicken;

¨ Canned corn, green beans & mixed vegetables;

¨ Cereal & oatmeal;

¨ Rice & grains, 1-2 lbs. only;

¨ Beans—canned, baked, dried;

¨ Diced tomatoes, 14.5-28 oz. only;

¨ Pasta sauce;

¨ Pasta;

¨ Shelf stable boxed milk & no sugar added juice; and

¨ Baking items—Bisquick, flour & shortening.

Gift cards from Walmart, Giant and Aldie are also welcome, as well as checks made out to CCDA, with St. Lucy Project in memo line. (Please drop off gift cards and checks at the parish office.)
