Divine Mercy Novena Begins Good Friday

In preparation for, and leading up to, Divine Mercy Sunday, April 28^th, St. Veronica will be praying a novena to The Divine Mercy after all Masses. The request and prayers for this novena were given by Our Lord directly to St. Faustina: “I desire that during these nine days [beginning on Good Friday] you bring souls to the fountain of My mercy, that they may draw therefrom strength and refreshment and whatever grace they need in the hardships of life, especially at the hour of death.” Jesus to St. Faustina, Diary of St. Faustina, 1209-29.
