Changes to Adoration and Church Access During Holy Week

April 7, 2020 12:14 pm

We are blessed to have perpetual Eucharistic Adoration at St. Veronica.  Please note the adjustment of Adoration hours and church access during Holy Week.

The Blessed Sacrament will be reposed to the tabernacle at 6:00 pm on Thursday, April 9th.  At that time, the church will close in preparation for the live streaming of the Mass of the Lord’s Supper from St. Veronica church.  Regrettably, except for scheduled confession and veneration times (see complete Holy Week Schedule in another Post and April 5th bulletin), the church will not be opened to the faithful during the Easter Triduum.

Eucharistic Adoration will recommence with Exposition at 3:00 pm on Easter Sunday, April 12th.

To make sure that we have at least one committed adorer every hour to be with our Eucharistic Lord, please go to our Sign up Genius:  https://tinyurl.com/rreele9.

Kindly sit in an empty pew and maintain 6 feet away from the nearest adorer.  Hand sanitizer is available in the south vestibule.  Feel free to bring your own antibacterial wipes.  Be sure to sign in at the table near the confessionals.  Look for the free resource, “How to Make a Holy Hour.”  If you sign up for an hour between 9:00 pm and 8:00 am, contact 301-728-7855 for the security code.
