Families today face many struggles, both through cultural pressure and through the personal struggles that accompany family life. Despite these struggles—and partly as a result of conquering them—families have great capacity for love and joy, a joy that is strengthened through the peace and truth found in Christ. The weekend of December 29/30, we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Family. St. Veronica Knights of Columbus is sponsoring the Consecration of the Holy Family at all Masses. To help strengthen our families and revitalize our parish, we invite each family in the parish to consecrate themselves to the Holy Family and to devote themselves to the ideal model of familial love set by Jesus, Mary and Joseph. The Knights of Columbus will distribute prayer cards at all Masses and the celebrant will lead us in reciting the Consecration to the Holy Family Prayer together as a parish family.
