Special Guest Speaker, Saturday, November 4th–Powerful Conversion Story

November 2, 2017 3:49 pm
On Saturday, November 4th, at 9:45 am in the St. John Paul II room, the Luminaries of Holy Mary invite all to hear a special guest speaker. Mrs. Angelique Khong. Our Lady of Fatima told us in July of 1917 and again in June of 1929 that communist Russia would spread its errors if Russia was not consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and if the First Saturday devotions were not observed. 100 million deaths since, we still see the evils of atheistic communism.

Mrs. Khong escaped Vietnam on a boat with her family in the early 1980’s after the fall of Vietnam to the communists. She was a teenager a Buddhist and did not know any Catholics. Upon finally coming to the USA and settling in this area she graduated from high school and college.  Then she married a fellow Vietnamese Buddhist man and had children. A chance encounter with a visiting Vietnamese cardinal in the USA led to a incredible miracle for her. This miracle fostered in her a desire to seek more information about Our Lady. This led her to private prayer time at Queen of Apostles Church in Alexandria, Va. This was followed by learning for the first time about Jesus and a conversion to Catholicism.
