St. Veronica Catholic School is an extension of the mission of St. Veronica Parish. Families are strongly encouraged to volunteer their time, talent, and treasure to the mission of the parish and the school. Before volunteering at a Diocesan school, parents are required to attend a VIRTUS seminar, fill out the mandated paperwork, and allow a background check.

Please find information regarding the Protecting God’s Children seminars here.

Please find the paperwork required to be returned to the Diocesan Office here.

Please note: Any parent/volunteer not in compliance with the requirements of the Diocese of Arlington will not be admitted to volunteer for any school event, including field trips.

If you have additional questions or need any other information, please contact our School Liaison, Mrs. Leah Lagdameo, at

The Office of Child Protection and Victim Assistance

The Arlington Diocesan Office of Child Protection (OPCYP) works to ensure that all children and youth in programs throughout the diocese have a safe environment full of caring and responsible adults to watch over them. OPCYP performs background checks and safe environment training for adults and youth in accordance with the requirements of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops Charter on the Protection of Children.

Current St. Veronica Catholic School Families

In accordance with the St. Veronica Catholic School Student/Parent Handbook, all current school families are required to fulfill their Parent Volunteer Commitment (PVC) points every school year. The PVC points program is coordinated through our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Current school families are directed to the PTO section of your SchoolSpeak account to learn more about opportunities to earn and record PVC points. If you need assistance with your SchoolSpeak account, please contact the school office.
